Loren A Bertocci, PhD Director, ProAnox Science Foundation
20 years experience at UT Southwestern Medical Center in cutting edge academic medical research in the areas of physiology and metabolism including the design of instrumentation to support non invasive diagnosis of skeletal and cardiac muscle. A member of the Medical School faculty Department of Radiology, Dr. Bertocci instructed 4th year medical students in the use, experimental design and analysis of NMR. Recipient of over $5 million in research grants, Dr Bertocci performed research for such agencies as NASA, American Heart Association and the National Institutes of Health.
Omar Amr, MD
Board certified in Emergency Medicine with a specialty of sports related injury and intervention, Dr Amr was a 4 time All American and Academic All American at University of California, Irvine. Following his undergraduate program, Dr Amr attended Harvard Medical School while training for the 2004 Olympic Water Polo Team based in Los Alamitos, California. Dr Amrs' interest in sports performance and injury prevention makes him an ideal member of the ProAnox Science Foundation Board of Directors.
